Flying to Stockholm is cheaper than anytime before. The low fare airlines frequently offer promotional fares. So low in fact, that transportation to and from the airport often costs more than the airfare itself. The low fare scene is changing rapidly. New routes are announced almost every week and old ones are discontinued. We try hard to keep this list updated. The flying time is usually around 1 hour from northern Europe, 2 hours from central, western and eastern Europe and 3 hours from southern Europe.

Arlanda Express Arlanda Express is a fast and frequent train service between Arlanda airport and the Central train station in Stockholm. Trains leave 4-6 times an hour from early morning until midnight. Prices single tickets: Adult (from 26 yrs): SEK 240 Children + youths (8-25 yrs) travelling alone: SEK 120 Senior Citizen: 120 Family offer: Up to four children 0-17 yrs, accompanied by person travelling on fullprice ticket, travel for free. Weekend price (Sat-, Sun-, holidays) Two adults travelling together (incl. 1-4 kids 0 - 17 yrs): SEK 250 |

TaxiAsk the dispatcher to call up a car from "Taxi Stockholm" which offers a special flat rate - tips included. They accept Visa and Master Card. Travelling time about 40 minutes. The flat rate applies for trips to and from the airport. |
