The Skokloster Palace is one of the world´s foremost baroque museums. It was built 1654-1676 by Carl Gustaf Wrangel. A great monument to the 17th century when Sweden was one of the leading powers in Europe. Don´t miss the never completed Banquet Hall, today a great example of a constructions site from the 17th century. The Skokloster Palace is one huge cabinet of art with unique interiors containing 50,000 exhibits: furniture, paintings, textiles and weapons. Giftshop and café.
