The Stockholm à la Carte hotel package consists of bed, breakfast*) and the Stockholm à la Carte card, featuring unlimited free public transportation by buses, subway and commuter trains, 15 free tours by bus and boat, free admission at 65 sights and attractions, a 180-page guide book and more. The card is a value in itself and is included with every reservation at absolutely no extra cost. It is valid during the whole stay, i.e. arrival and departure days, all days in between and is issued upon check-in.

There can be a lot of fine print when you book hotels on the Internet, and that can lead to unpleasant surprises. We have the friendliest terms of all and our package rates can stand comparison with anyone. See for yourself!

• Free cancellation up to the night before arrival. After that, we charge only for the first night, not for the full value of the reservation. So, why tie yourself down? And why spend money on expensive cancellation insurance?
• No charge for changes. Change away to your heart's delight. We don't charge a penny for the trouble. Others want up to for this.
• Travel first, pay later! Why pre-pay 40 days in advance or more? If you make your reservation online with us, we won't charge your credit card until the day after check-out from the hotel.
• Children free! We will give all children under 18 a roll-away bed in the room of the parent(s), breakfast*) and a Stockholm à la Carte-card!. No one else does it. There are even those who charge more than per night for children - without any city card.
• Single rooms without supplement. We are the only ones who can offer five hotels, where singles are priced at the same level as a half double. Why squeeze in tight, when a room of your own doesn't cost more?

Discounted rates available 217 days per year.

The Stockholm à la Carte hotel package is a limited availability offering available at sharply discounted rates during off-peak periods, i.e. all weekends year round, all days from mid June to mid August and all holidays, holiday eves and weekdays squeezed in between such days. On these days, an average of 9.000 hotel rooms remain unsold and empty in Stockholm. We buy thousands of these, package them up for vacation travellers and sell them on at bargain basement rates. The package is offered by us, Destination Stockholm - Sweden's largest domestic tour operator. It is not available directly from the hotels.

Full rate packages now available for peak weekdays.

The Stockholm à la Carte package is now available also during 148 peak dates mid-week, but based on regular rates rather than discounted. The idea is to make it easier for you to combine our package with low cost transportation offers, which are not always possible to fit in exactly with our 217 discount dates.
